The American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES) is pleased to invite you to join us for the 2023 AAES Annual Meeting, April 29 - May 1, 2023, hosted in Birmingham, Alabama at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel. As the leading endocrine surgery association in North America, the AAES Annual Meeting is the premier event to connect with professionals and leaders across the globe in the field of endocrine surgery to showcase your products and services and position your company with key decision-makers in the field.
The AAES Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity to connect with a focused audience made up of leading national and international endocrine surgeons – specialists who perform cervical (thyroid and parathyroid) and abdominal (pancreas, gastrointestinal, and adrenal) endocrine operations. These fields of practice overlap with otolaryngology, urology, gastrointestinal, and surgical oncology and specialists in these fields also attend the AAES Annual Meeting. Most endocrine surgeons are experts in open and laparoscopic/robotic surgery for benign and malignant disorders, as well as use of adjunctive technologies (ultrasound, laryngoscopy, molecular diagnostics, nerve monitoring, autofluorescence) and the broader practice of endocrinology. Additionally, many endocrine surgeons have robust research programs and are on the forefront of surgical innovation. The 2023 Annual Meeting will include opportunities to engage with the AAES audience in the Exhibit and Poster Hall as well as in other settings.

COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY

The health and safety of AAES members, registrants, staff, exhibitors, and guests is our highest priority. While participating in the 2023 Annual Meeting, depending on the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, proof of vaccination status, social-distancing and/or mask-wearing may be required in the meeting space, social events, and in public areas of the Birmingham hotels. The AAES will abide by the most current World Health Organization, U.S. Center for Disease Control, state of Alabama, city of Birmingham, and hotel safety guidelines which are continually changing. Staff will continue to monitor and provide updates based on federal, state or local laws or recommendations. In the online registration form, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer agreement regarding communicable disease and acknowledgement of the potential risks of gathering in-person.
