Panel Sessions
Panel Sessions are featured within the scientific program and are moderated sessions that bring together multiple experts to examine important issues, emerging trends, and diverse viewpoints. We invite you to shape our educational program for the AAES 2027 Annual Meeting! We seek suggestions for panel topics, speakers, or moderators that are dedicated to advancing knowledge in our field and broadly strengthening belonging and connection within our society.
Below are examples of topics:
- Operative Techniques in Endocrine Surgery (Innovative approaches to thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy; Technical strategies for vascular ligation and dissection)
- Emerging Technologies and Data-Driven Tools (Practical applications of artificial intelligence in surgical planning and decision-making; Integration of predictive analytics and workflow optimization in endocrine surgery)
- Complex Cancer Management (Multidisciplinary strategies for anaplastic thyroid carcinoma; Neoadjuvant therapy for locally advanced differentiated thyroid cancer; Surgical management of recurrent disease)
- Controversial and Evolving Topics (Focused versus four-gland parathyroid exploration; Management of concurrent thyroid nodules and primary hyperparathyroidism; Comparative approaches to adrenalectomy)
- Post-Surgical Hypoparathyroidism (Strategies for prevention during surgery; Basic and translational science investigation of hypoparathyroidism; Contemporary management and impact on patient quality of life)
Consider a Panel Session if your proposal includes:
- Multiple expert perspectives
- Emerging issues affecting the field
- Moderator-led discussion with audience engagement opportunities
- Broad-interest topics relevant to a large audience
If you are interested in participating in one of these roles and/or have suggestions for panels, please submit a proposal by clicking the button below.
