The Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island invites qualified individuals to apply for a full-time position as the Director of Endocrine Surgery for Long Island. The successful applicant will be a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon in their early mid-career ready to take on a leadership position. The major responsibilities will reside at the NYU Langone Hospital –Long Island in Mineola, NY. However, the candidate will also be responsible for further developing the endocrine surgery program in Suffolk County.

The opportunity involves joining the busy, well-established endocrine surgery program at NYU. The candidate can expect a high volume of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal cases. Proficiency in thyroid RFA, retroperitoneal adrenalectomy, and transoral thyroidectomy is preferred but not essential. The applicant should have a demonstrated interest in fellow training, resident teaching, and medical student education. No responsibility for trauma or general surgery call coverage is expected or required.
