Advanced Endocrine Surgery Course

Friday, April 3, 2020, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Westin Birmingham Hotel, Ballroom AB

Course Description:

We invite you to join us for the third annual AAES Advanced Case Studies in Endocrine Surgery. This is an opportunity to review current standards in management of complex endocrine diseases, while engaging on a personal level with nationally recognized authorities in the field. In a departure from classic lecture format, the course is structured as case presentations to a multi-disciplinary panel of experts in the areas of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disease, as well as a special session dedicated to re-operative endocrine surgery.

In order to create an engaging, realistic setting and highlight the nuances of complex decision making, the panelists will be unaware of the clinical scenarios prior to each session. This learning event offers a more realistic approach and lends itself well to learning objectives of practicing surgeons with a special interest in the field. This session is offered to a limited number of participants as to maintain an interactive format between the faculty and the attendees. We hope that you will take advantage of this unique opportunity to enhance your clinical practice of endocrine surgery.
