The American Journal of Surgery Editor: Birmingham, AlabamaThe American Journal of Surgery Editor: Birmingham, AlabamaThe American Journal of Surgery (AJS) is seeking an Editor to manage the peer review of papers in the field of endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal) and breast disease.The successful candidate will have: a strong publication record in the peer-reviewed literature editorial experience such as being a member of an Editorial Board, significant experience as an ad-hoc reviewer, or having guest edited a special issue for a peer reviewed journal. Although the role is largely focused on managing the peer review of papers submitted to the journal, we would also expect you to be ambassador for The American Journal of Surgery and to contribute to the strategic development of the journal alongside the other Editors, the Editor-in-Chief, and wider publishing team.
