The DeWitt Daughtry Department of Surgery, Division of Endocrine Surgery at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, is currently seeking a fellowship-trained, academically-oriented endocrine surgeon to join their growing division. Candidates must have completed an accredited general surgery residency program, an AAES-accredited endocrine surgery fellowship, and be board certified in General Surgery. The division is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Professor (within 3 to 4 years of fellowship completion) or Associate Professor of Surgery level candidate, and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to thyroid and parathyroid tumors and disease, clinical experience with adrenal and neuroendocrine tumors is highly desired. This recruited faculty member will also provide educational training to medical students, residents and fellows, and actively participate in clinical/translational research. Along with strong clinical expertise, candidates with a background in educational and/or technical innovation, operational and program development are preferred.
