The Department of Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina is currently seeking a board-certified endocrine surgeon for full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates must have completed appropriate endocrine surgery fellowship training. The physician will be joining the Division of Oncologic & Endocrine Surgery. The position includes full faculty appointment in the Clinician Educator Track. In addition to clinical duties, the surgeon will participate in resident/student teaching and clinical research. This intends to be a 100% endocrine surgery position with breast surgery coverage. The Medical University of South Carolina's Hollings Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center. The Endocrine Tumor team at Hollings Cancer Center includes endocrine surgery, endocrinology, cytophathology, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, speech pathology, medical oncologists, and a genetics counselor.
