The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery is currently seeking an Endocrine Surgeon to join the Division of Surgical Oncology, Section of Endocrine Surgery. Fellowship training in either Endocrine Surgery or Complex General Surgical Oncology with a focused interest in surgical endocrine disease is required. The ideal candidate would have demonstrated commitment to academic surgery and have a minimum of 3-4 years of clinical experience.
The clinical practice associated with this position will be based at the Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center and the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans’ Administration Medical Center. Additional responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate medical education. Applicants with a strong interest in the training of fellows in Endocrine Surgery are desired.
Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and must be certified by the American Board of Surgery or eligible for such certification. Academic rank and compensation are dependent on qualifications and experience.
The Department of Surgery is comprised of 11 divisions, including 9 clinical divisions, a Division of Education, and a Division of Research. The Division of Surgical Oncology includes 17 faculty members whose clinical interests encompass surgical endocrine, breast, skin and connective tissue, gastrointestinal, and hepatobiliary disease management.
