The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Division of Surgical Oncology in Omaha, NE is searching for an endocrine surgeon and invites applications. The Endocrine Tumor team includes surgeons, endocrinologists, medical oncologists, cytophathologists, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, speech pathology, and genetics counselors. Our Division of Surgical Oncology is a component of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center – the only cancer center in Nebraska with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation. The new state-of-the-art 615,000 square foot cancer facility, is designed to allow science, medicine and healing to share not just a common space, but also a common goal. As Nebraska’s only public academic health sciences center, UNMC is committed to the education of a 21st century health care work force, to finding cures and treatments for devastating diseases, to providing the best care for patients, and to serve Nebraska and its communities through award-winning outreach. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in General Surgery and completed an endocrine surgery fellowship.
