EXCITING CHANGES TO THE 2020 MEETING FORMAT
Local Arrangement Chair, John Porterfield, MD and his University of Alabama at Birmingham colleagues are thrilled to welcome you to AAES's 41st Annual Meeting in Birmingham, Alabama at the Birmingham Jackson Convention Center, April 4-6, 2020. You can look forward to a few big changes at the 2020 Meeting:

Shifting Dates & Timing: The 2020 Meeting will begin on Saturday, April 4 and end on Monday, April 6, shifting everything one day earlier. ESU, the Advanced Endocrine Surgery Course, the new RFA Course, and golf and tennis tournaments will all shift one day earlier as well. In addition, the Meeting will be extended until 3:00 pm on the last day, Monday, April 6. With so much amazing content, the 2020 Meeting will be extended a few hours longer until 3:00 pm. Check out the entire program outline on the Annual Meeting website.

Apply for a Comprehensive Clinical Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery

The American Association of Endocrine Surgeons will sponsor the 2020 match for a comprehensive clinical fellowship in Endocrine Surgery starting August 1, 2021. The online match application process opens on February 17, 2020 and will close on April 24. Final match results will be announced August 7. For more information and to view the requirements to apply for an AAES accredited Fellowship, visit the Fellowship Match page.

The application period for the 2020 Fellowship Match cycle (2021-2022 fellowship year) will open February 17. The deadline for all application materials is April 24, 2020.

The AAES shares practice guideline resources including those that have been written and published by AAES members.

AAES members can post new courses and new calls for collaboration for research studies. Login to the Members Only portal to submit your course or research study information to AAES. Once approved, search for your listing and others on the Research Collaboration page and the Courses/Meetings of Interest Page.
